Powerful Prayer To Cancel Evil Plans Of The Enemy

We know by experience that God is good. Most of us have seen God come through for us in times when all else failed and all hope was lost. We also know through the holy scriptures that Satan the devil is our enemy; he takes pleasure in doing evil against the people of God. (John 8:44, John 10:10). 

The Bible further tells us in Jeremiah 29:11 that our God has only good thoughts and plans for us, and He works tirelessly to see those plans made manifest in our lives. But the devil has only evil thoughts concerning us, he always wants to see the worst happening to us. 

While God does His best to cause His good will to come to pass in our lives, the enemy on the other end, has his own will which he works day and night to ensure it manifests in our lives. 

You might be wondering, how true is it that the devil has his own will for every child of God? Oh yes, he does! This is evident in his attacks against your life, attacks against your finances, attacks against literally everything concerning you. 

Matthew 13:27-28 ESV

And the servants of the master of the house came and said to him, ‘Master, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have weeds?’ He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ So the servants said to him, ‘Then do you want us to go and gather them?’

Consider the field in the above scripture to be the life of every Christian. The Master is God Almighty. While the Master was busy sowing good seeds in His field, the enemy took a chance to plant weeds. Weeds as we know, attack and stifle the growth of crops. 

The purpose of every spiritual attack isn't to aid the manifestation of God's plans in your life. It is instead meant to prevent them. The spiritual attacks you experience are directly against every good thing God is working to accomplish in your life. 

While God creates, the enemy paces around waiting for an opportunity to destroy. The devil always has evil plans against us and he's desperate to see them come to pass. That is why the Bible instructs us in 1 Peter 5:8 to stay [spiritually] alert, because the devil prowls around like a bloodthirsty lion, seeking whom to devour. 

While God undistractedly works to bring His will to pass in our lives, we must not stay idle and allow the enemy have his field day in our lives. We must keep active watch and stay prayed up! 

God has given us all that is required to thwart the works of the enemy. No matter how deadly or terrible the plans of the enemy against us may sound or appear, the good news is that they are destructible!

The plans of the darkness against you do not necessarily have to manifest because they are not part of your divine destiny. They are only thrown in your way while you tread the path of your destiny. 

All plans of the enemy against you are isolated for destruction, even before the enemy plans them against you. That is why the Psalmist could boldly say, “The Lord is my light and my salvation—so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble?” - Psalm 27:1 (NLT). 

God is a million steps ahead of the enemy in all ramifications. He has already won the battle on our behalf. The Almighty has made provision for the dismantling of all categories of plans of the enemy. We only need to activate and harness this victory through prayer. Stay with me, because we are going to pray. 

Prayer To Cancel Evil Plan Of The Enemy

How then can we go about cancelling the evil plans of the enemy, if we don't even know about them? Knowing what the enemy is doing in secret against us is the first step to bulldozing those works. 

It is easier to evade a pothole on the road when the driver sees it before time, than when he never did. It is easier to avoid a trap when it has been seen than when it's not seen. 

The works of enemy are concealed by default. The enemy never plans evil against anyone only to later inform them that he has planned evil against them. It is the Holy Spirit who uncovers the purportedly hidden plots of the enemy.

Now God has revealed these things to us by the Spirit, since the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.

The Holy Spirit works intelligently to blow the cover off the evil plans of the enemy, by revealing them to us. It is with this knowledge (made available to us through revelation) that we can go on to pray to cancel the evil plans of the enemy. 

In most cases, when it seems like the enemy planned and successfully executed an evil plan against someone, it is because they didn't see it coming. It wasn't revealed to them.

Secondly, cancelling the plans of the enemy isn't as simple as canceling a written work with a pen. By one own's ability, no human can cancel the plans of the enemy. No amount of prayer done in the absence of the Holy Spirit can cancel the plans of the enemy either.

There are people to whom God revealed what the enemy was plotting against them, and they went on a prayer marathon. But at the end of the day, what the enemy planned against them still happened. Such people always have many questions, but rest assured, I'll gladly answer some of those questions below. 

Isaiah 10:27 (KJB)

And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.

The above scripture states clearly that burdens are lifted and yokes are broken because of the Anointing. It is not enough to rush into prayer, praying violently because you saw something bad that could happen if you don't pray. Are you filled with the Holy Spirit? What have you been doing with your spiritual life even before you saw what was revealed to you? Did you prioritize your relationship with the Holy Spirit all these while? Did you intentionally position yourself to be filled and refilled with the Holy Spirit? 

The moment a Christian sees bad dreams or visions about what the enemy is plotting against them, isn't the best time to prepare to destroy the plans of the enemy through prayer. 

A good soldier doesn't prepare in the battlefield, but before stepping into the battlefield. What the enemy plans against a Christian may still manifest even after loads of prayers, if those prayers lacked the power and backing of the Holy Spirit.

So, prioritize staying filled with the Holy Spirit. Prioritize obedience to God and His Word. Prioritize your relationship with God. Prioritize all these things even when it seems the enemy has taken a rest from attacking you. So that when he rises against you like a flood, the Anointing of the Holy Spirit will be there in great measure to raise a shocking standard against him. 

We are told that faith moves mountain, but faith-filled words without the backing of the power of the Holy Spirit, will still lack spiritual efficacy. 

Receiving a revelation concerning what the enemy is planning is one. Having the Anointing to suppress and smash those plans through prayer is another. These things are indispensable in praying to cancel the evil plans of the enemy. 

A Prayer To Cancel Evil Plans Of The Enemy

1. Thank You Father for giving me power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, without sustaining any harm. 
2. Father, by Your delegated power I decree, let every evil plan of the enemy launched against me be dismantled. 
3. By the blood of Jesus Christ, I blot out every evil handwriting of the enemy written against me. 
4. Every gang-up of agents of darkness against my life, let them be scattered by the fire of God. 
5. Every evil intent of darkness fired like a fiery dart against me, let fall to the ground without accomplishing its mission. 
6. By the power of the Almighty, I come against and annul every evil word spoken against me in secret. 
7. Evil messenger carrying evil words and sowing discord with my name, be arrested by the power of God! 
8. Let every evil conspiracy against my life, bounce back against the conspirators. 
9. Holy Spirit of God, I ask that You reveal to me everything the enemy plans against me. Guide me to pray for their destruction. 
10. Heavenly Father, because I am safe in You, I am not afraid of what the enemy plans against me. 
11. Father, I ask that You would disable every evil plot of the enemy before he has a chance to put it in motion. 
12. Because I belong to God Almighty, I declare that only the plans and will of God shall manifest in my life. 
13. I reject the will of the enemy against my life. I declare that every contrary plan of the enemy against my life, be thwarted by the power of God Almighty! 
14. Every power of darkness vested with the responsibility to carry out evil plans against my life, be arrested in the Name of Jesus Christ! 
15. Evil plans of accidents of the enemy against my life, be thwarted in the Name of Jesus Christ! 
16. Evil plans of the enemy against my finances, be reversed in the Name of Jesus Christ! 
17. Evil plans of darkness against my job, be annulled by the power of God!

19. By the authority of Jesus Christ, I frustrate the activities of every human agent of darkness positioned to execute evil plans against my life.
20. By the power of the Anointing, I reverse every evil work of the enemy against me for my favour. 
21. When the enemy expects the worst to happen in my life, he shall only witness the best manifest in my life. 
22. Heavenly Father, I ask that You would constantly frustrate every future attempts of the enemy to carryout his will in my life. 
23. I declare that my life shall turn out only according to the way God wants it, not the way the enemy desires. 
24. I command my destiny to obey the voice, plans and will of God for my life. 
25. No evil plan of the enemy against everything that has my name on it, shall come to pass! 
26. I shall always walk harmless and come out unscathed, amidst all evil plans of darkness against my life. 
27. Thank You Father for going before me to subdue and dislodge all evil plans of the devil against me. In the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen!
