Midnight Deliverance Prayer Against Stubborn Enemies

If you have been experiencing diverse kinds of spiritual attacks and they seem not to go away, you need to pray these midnight prayer points.
So many Christians today are faced with energy-sapping attacks from stubborn enemies. These enemies are agents of darkness who have been assigned against these people, to attack them constantly and rob them of their peace.

Stubborn enemies can either be humans or spirits. We know that there exist both godly and ungodly spirits. We also know that evil spirits take instructions directly from Satan, and live to work wickedness against the child of God.

Midnight Prayer Against Stubborn Enemies

But it doesn't just end there. There are also humans who have made themselves available vessels to be possessed and used of the devil, against the child of God.

One thing I've noticed about stubborn enemies is that, they are consistent, persistent and annoying in their attacks to harm the child or God.

Even when they try again and again to no avail, they always device yet another means. Sometimes it seems like they took an oath to not rest until they execute their evil intent against their target.

The will of their master is like a 'do-or-die' affair. They exist to fulfil it. They are like a spiritual parasite attached to a Christian. But from this day henceforth, the Lord shall scrub every stubborn enemy off from your life!!

1 Peter 5:8 NASB
Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

We have a common enemy—Satan the devil. According to the holy scriptures, his mission is to kill, steal and to destroy (John 10:10). Every other enemy that a Christian may have, take instructions from Satan. They are in a pact, and they live to do the bidding of their master.

The devil himself is a stubborn enemy. No wonder the Bible tells us that he prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8).

  • Stubborn enemies do not rest until they're put to rest.
  • They're constantly fidgeting and lurking around the child of God, waiting for the right opportunity to strike.
  • They are in our workplaces, in our families, in our neighbourhood and in the circle of our friends.
  • They're always employing new tactics in their efforts to ruin a child of God.
  • Stubborn enemies monitor their targets both physically and spiritually, so as to know the perfect time to strike.
  • Stubborn enemies constantly attack their target to surpress their progress.
  • Stubborn enemies work tirelessly to hinder and close doors of blessings against their target.
  • They are envious of every good thing happening in the life of a child of God. They wish those things happened to them instead.
  • Stubborn enemies hate to see their target blessed and prosperous.

Stubborn enemies are very bold in their attacks. Desperate but very strategic in their attacks. They act like God doesn't exist and can't stop them. They're obsessed with doing evil and they are slaves to their own obsession—until they are eventually destroyed by their own evil.

No wonder the Psalmist prayed thus:

Psalm 35:8 NLT
So let sudden ruin come upon them! Let them be caught in the trap they set for me! Let them be destroyed in the pit they dug for me.

In Exodus 14, Pharaoh was the stubborn enemy the devil used against God's remnant in Israel. He was bent on keeping in captivity and enslaving God's people. Even God's instructions to "let My people go!" did not move him!

Pharaoh was stubborn and undaunted, until God showed him who the boss is. Tonight, the Lion of Judah shall arise in His Power to torment your enemies!

Even today, there are still "Pharaohs" in the lives of many Christians. Most of them are demon-possessed humans; witches and warlocks whom the devil is using to constantly afflict the Believer.

They work tirelessly day and night to see to it that the Christian doesn't make progress, or become all that Heaven destined them to be.

Even when their works are destroyed, they often re-strategize and renew their attacks against a Christian. But rest assured, their time is short!

If the Almighty did set free the children of Israel from the hands of the Egyptian Pharaoh, He is also able to permanently set you free from the hands of every stubborn enemy in your life!

Isaiah 49:24-26 (MSG)
Can plunder be retrieved from a giant, prisoners of war gotten back from a tyrant? But GOD says, “Even if a giant grips the plunder and a tyrant holds my people prisoner, I’m the one who’s on your side, defending your cause, rescuing your children. And your enemies, crazed and desperate, will turn on themselves, killing each other in a frenzy of self-destruction. Then everyone will know that I, GOD, have saved you—I, the Mighty One of Jacob.”

The Bible tells us that if the Son of God sets us free, we are free indeed (John 8:36). Why then would any human or demon want to keep us in captivity? They are biting more than they can chew. The Lord is set to fight against those who fight against you!

We can recall how Pharaoh met his dead end; he was led by his own undaunting lust to keep God's people under shackles, into his own destruction.

I pray for you today! May every Pharaoh-like pursuer bent on destroying you be caught in their own net of wickedness and destroyed!

May the Mighty hand of God arise on your behalf and strike the evildoer who is fighting desperately to ruin your life. In the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ!

Psalms For Stubborn Enemies

The above prayer points are based on Psalm 35. The Psalms of David is a very powerful book; if efficiently harnessed, you can always come forth victorious in any spiritual warfare.

David had very many enemies and learned the art of seeking God's help in defeating and overcoming them. The Lord also trained him for victory both in physical and spiritual warfare (Psalm 144:1).

You can go ahead and read Psalm 35, and then be led by the Spirit to apply and use it to make your prayers more effective.

Final Thoughts On Prayer Against Stubborn Enemies

Beloved, be consistent with these prayers. It is clearly stated that you should pray the prayers in the midnight. If you're someone who is under constant spiritual attacks—which sometimes manifest as nightmares in your dreams—do not joke with these prayers

You can also make the decision to fast for some days, then pray the prayers each midnight of your fasting (after breaking the fast for the day). You can do a 6am to 12pm fasting, 6am to 3pm or 6am to 6pm. Do it consistently for a week, two weeks or a month and come back with your testimony.

May the enemy lose his hold over your life! May your enemies be put to shame! The enemy shall no longer be able to rob you of your peace, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

God bless you.
