It is the heart desire of God that we live in unison with Him. This desire was clearly made manifest in His plan to reconcile the world back to Himself, through the sacrifice of His only begotten Son (Jesus Christ) on the cross.
Aligning ourselves with God and His will is part and parcel of the salvation plan. It begins at Salvation. It is our responsibility to appropriate and harness the full potential of the salvation plan in our lives as individuals.
Aligning ourselves with God is the Spirit's bidding upon the sons of God in this season.
The Lord is calling us into a place of communion, intimacy and a deeper walk with Him.
There Is A Call To Divine Alignment
Revelation 22:17 KJV And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
There is a call for alignment reaching out to the fallen, to the backsliden and to the average Christian. It begins at getting purged from our sins and purified.
Isaiah 1:18 KJV Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord : though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
The Spirit and the bride says come, for there is more to access in God. Walk with Him in perfect alignment so as to not miss out on what He is doing in this season.
What It Means To Get Aligned With God
To align oneself with God means to come to a place of total obedience, oneness and total submission to God Almighty and His will.
This is a place where our self-will is submitted to God to get replaced by His will. It is a place where our body, spirit and soul is laid on God's alter as a living sacrifice.
In this place we no longer have a life of our own. But Christ lives and fully rules over us through His Holy Spirit, to will and do according to His good pleasure (Philippians 2:13).
To align with God and His will means to live the way God wants us to live, and not the way we want to live.
Why We Should Align Ourselves With God
There are a thousand and one reasons why we must get aligned with God (especially in these last days).
1. For The Purpose of Manifestation
For the earnest expectation of creation awaits the manifestation of the sons of God (Romans 8:19). Alignment is a vital requirement for the manifestation of the sons of God. We can not represent a God we do not walk in agreement with. To become all that Heaven destined us to be and be used of God to the fullest, we must align ourselves with Him.
2. For Fulfilling Destiny
Since God is our source, the supply of all we need in order to walk in our divine purpose and fulfil destiny comes through alignment with Him. Success in the Kingdom comes through aligning oneself with God and His will.
3. For Transformation Into The Likeness of Christ
The holy scriptures tells us that the more we we behold the face of our Lord Jesus Christ, the more we are changed into His likeness.
2 Corinthians 3:18 KJV But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
Transformation into the likeness of Christ comes with ease through aligning with God. A vessel that is aligned with God is a submitted vessel. That gives God the right of way to work on that vessel without resistance. The greatest resistance to God's work of transformation upon a man comes from the man himself.
4. For The Purpose of Ministry
Ministry is the outward expression of our relationship with Jesus Christ. It is the outcome of our walk with God made visible for others to see and benefit from.
We can not function beyond the quality of our relationship with God. Alignment is necessary to get the best relationship with God that we can have.
Final Thoughts On Aligning With God
In order also not to miss out on the activities of Heaven in every season, staying in alignment with God is something that shouldn't be compromised.
Getting aligned with God is not an option. It is a command; and a requirement for becoming a good steward and God's ambassador on earth.
Be the submitted and pure vessel which the Lord wants you to be. Live in total obedience to Him and His word. Walk with Him in innocence and a pure heart.
Make deliberate efforts to get aligned with God. That is God's Mind for you today.
