20 Prayers For Open Doors And Breakthrough

Open doors are often breakthrough and favour, divine connections, blessings and success that God gives to His people. Every child of God is suppose to have open doors by default, but life in present world is not perfect. There are many things that can stand between a Christian and their open doors.

For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.

Is Every Open Door From God? 

There is a belief that not every open door is from God. Believers should walk with discernment, because sometimes, the enemy uses what may look like an open door to try luring us into his trap. Initially, they might look good; they might look like blessings or success but they may be nothing but baits crafted to get us in the hands of the enemy.

As Christians, contentment is virtue—it is noble. We should have it. We shouldn't just accept every favour that comes our way, but try to ascertain its source first. God will always protect us from false open doors from the enemy, if we are willing to be protected.

Preparing For Your Open Doors

God doesn't open doors just for anyone (except out of mercy). As Christians, we shouldn't depend just on mercy. We should ensure we do right and receive from the hand of God, the fullness of all that He has in store for us. Before we expect open doors, we must ensure that we are living right and walking in total obedience with God. These things are indispensable for obtaining open doors from God. 

Prayer Points For Open Doors

1. Thank you Father for I know that it is Your will for me to access open doors through the name of Jesus Christ.

9. By the authority of Jesus Christ, I come against every force of darkness risen against my open doors. I command them to be destroyed in the Name of Jesus Christ. 
10. By the power of God, I frustrate every effort of the enemy to prevent me from accessing my open doors in Jesus Mighty Name! 
11. Every Satanic, demonic, witchcraft barricade placed between me and my open doors, I command you to be shattered now in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ! 
12. I take authority and ownership over my open doors. I place the Blood of the Lamb on each of them. I decree that no agent of darkness shall be able to tamper with them in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ! 

Prayer For Open Doors of Opportunity

1. Father You said in your Word that the heart of Kings are in Your hands (Proverbs 21:1). I ask that You cause people in places of authority to favour me and create Godly opportunities for me in the Name of Jesus Christ! 
2. I shall not be late to my open doors and opportunities. I shall not be insensitive to my available open doors and opportunities. I shall not miss my divinely ordained opportunities in the Name of Jesus Christ! 
3. Every form of distraction from the kingdom of darkness, crafted to distract me from laying hold of my open doors and opportunities, I command you to be destroyed in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ! 
4. Father show me mercy and restore to me every open door and opportunity from You that I might had missed in the past, in Jesus Name.
5. Every hand of darkness stretched towards my open doors and opportunities to manipulate them, be broken now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ! 
6. Every spiritual thief assigned to steal my open doors and opportunities from me, I abort your assignment. Be arrested now! In the mighty name of Jesus Christ! 
7. By the authority of Jesus Christ, I take ownership over my open doors and opportunities. The enemy shall not be able to touch them anymore in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. 
8. Thank You Father. Thank You Lord. Thank You Holy Spirit. For when You open, no one can close (Isaiah 22:22, Revelation 3:7). I declare that the doors which You have opened for me shall be permanent in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ!
